A TRIBUTE TO MUSK WITH SAND LILY AND SAND-GROWN VETIVER

Musc K was born in the Maranhão landscape, where the pristine white sands of the wind-sculpted dunes contrast with the many crystal-clear shades of blue, from aquamarine and turquoise to the emerald green of the lagoons.

Musc K opens the score with a salty breeze of sand lily that is bright and fresh. Following the rhythm of the winds, its arabesques of white pepper on sand harmonise with a heart of salty iris and mangrove driftwood. A crescendo of sand-grown vetiver and Ambrofix™ anchors the fragrance, subtly nuanced at the end of its journey by a floating cloud of white musk, like the immaculate sand of the wind-blown dunes.

SONIA's INSPIRATION

For Musc K, I wanted to work with a clean, salty musk, I worked with a salty, mineral, woody breeze, I wanted to evoke the wind, the pure air of this region, I wrote this fragrance like a breath, this fragrance represents a new beginning, like a kite that carries us away to other lands. It represents a special moment in life when we wipe the slate of the past clean to write a new page that is brighter and full of hope.

A TRIBUTE TO MUSK WITH SAND LILY AND SAND-GROWN VETIVER

Like a grain of sand I am lifted by the wind, its warm, salty breath glides over my skin,
slips between my legs, ruffles my hair, leaving its mineral and iodine notes in its wake...
And so I made my way across the lagoon, proud and confident, carried by this cloud of white sand, by the strength of this pristine kite, which, against wind and tide and without a compass propels me towards a future without frontiers. Beyond these lagoon landscapes I knew I was on the right track. In the morning the winds will leave again, adorned with my kisses, on the wings of scarlet ibises, for our love is free, it knows no boundaries, but this budding love is a journey to the very edge of ourselves...
